The State of Israel, from the Golan Heights in the north to Eilat in the south, is sown with many areas in which live fire training exercises were carried out. Over the past few years, many clearance projects were carried out to clean these training areas from UXOs. UXOs which had been discovered were cleared by qualified and skilled clearance teams, and many areas were 'cleaned' and converted into areas designated for civilian uses.
